As Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, we offer counseling to individual adults and couples through Carolina Counseling & Wellness Center, PC.
Our specialty is couples counseling – helping couples find effective solutions to problems, and deepen intimacy and connection. Learn how to build and maintain healthy, loving and respectful relationships. Within the context of couples counseling, or in the form of individual therapy, we also offer help with stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and other emotional and situational challenges.
Carolina Counseling & Wellness Center specializes in healing relationships through individual and/or couples therapy. Work with our therapists to build solid and fulfilling relationships. When negative relationship patterns develop and take hold, sometimes after years of smooth sailing, people feel hurt, angry, and confused.
Learn How to Stop Reacting and Start Responding! Assert yourself while maintaining empathetic connection with your partner. Move away from the fight or flight stress reaction by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and other tools so you can be more fully present and connected to your partner, even as you talk about difficult issues.
Individual Counseling can be an effective resource to help people work on relationship issues. It can be an adjunct to couples therapy, or it can stand alone. In fact there is a concept called “couples therapy with one person present” – i.e. one person can significantly change the “system” through individual growth.
Basic trust is an essential ingredient of any good relationship. Trust can be damaged or broken in different ways. An affair – whether emotional, sexual or both – is a very serious boundary violation. And there are other ways that trust is damaged, leading to a sense of betrayal and deep wounding. We commonly work with these issues, helping couples to rebuild trust and relationship.
Our practitioners Jeff Levy, M.A., LMFT and Toni Rabinowitz, Ph.D, LMFT share expertise and similar perspectives on couples counseling and encourage you to contact us with any questions.
We have three office locations serving those seeking individual, relationship and/or marriage counseling in Cary (only a few minutes from the 440 Beltline), Raleigh and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
