My Background
I have a B.A. degree from the
University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, graduating summa cum laude.
I have a masters degree in clinical psychology from John F. Kennedy University
in Orinda, CA. After completing my internship requirements, I was licensed
as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California in 1987. From 1987 until
2001 I was engaged in full-time private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2001 I became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in North Carolina,
relocated here, and started my private practice in Raleigh.
My wife and I have been together for twenty-four years and have one child.
In my career, I have always felt an affinity for couples counseling and started that
specialization during my internship training.
